Joseon
A dynasty that existed on the Korean Peninsula; in 1392, it was founded by Yi Seonggye on the basis of on Neo-Confucian ideals after he had overthrown the Goryeo Dynasty and relocated the capital to Hanyang; it fell in 1910 after having been deprived of its sovereignty by Japan.
한반도에 있던 나라. 1392년 이성계가 고려를 멸망시키고 한양을 수도로 하여 세웠으며 성리학을 주요 이념으로 하였다. 1910년 일본에 국권을 빼앗기고 멸망하였다.
