A phenomenon in which the sounds of the final consonants 'ㄷ' and 'ㅌ' are changed to 'ㅈ' and 'ㅊ' when they occur before the vowels'ㅣ', 'ㅑ', 'ㅕ', 'ㅛ' or 'ㅠ'.
받침 ‘ㄷ, ㅌ’ 이 ‘ㅣ’나 ‘ㅑ, ㅕ, ㅛ, ㅠ’의 앞에서 ‘ㅈ, ㅊ’으로 바뀌는 현상.
